Cedar shavings are produced by our one-sided planer and our moulding machine. We collect the shavings with a system of pipes and blowers which direct the shavings into huge white bags used for round bales of hay. The bags are tied when full and lifted with the front end loader of our tractor. The cedar shavings make excellent bedding for horses and other animals, and they are in strong demand. The bags of cedar shavings weigh roughly 300 pounds.
