GAZEBOS AND PERGOLAS

White cedar is perfect for outdoor structures such as gazebos and pergolas. 6×6 posts make excellent and beautiful supporting structures, and dimensional lumber such as 2 x 4, 2 x 6 and 2 x 8 can provide the framework. The floor could be tongue and groove without a v joint, either 5/4 x 4 or 5/4 x 6, or 2 x 6. The walls and ceiling of a gazebo could be tongue and groove or channel board, and the roofing could be beveled siding.
