A classic exterior siding, board and batten has been used for many years for homes, barns,  sheds and boat houses.  Our board and batten uses rough surface boards 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 inches wide. Our standard batten (to cover the joints between boards) is 5/8 x 1 3/4 “.
